The Swimables SW-61-009 is a 5-pack of replacement reduction gears engineered for Hayward AquaNaut and Poolvergnuegen suction-side pool cleaners, serving as a direct replacement for OEM part number PVXH009PK5. The reduction gear performs a critical function within the cleaner's drivetrain — it steps down the high-speed rotational input generated by the turbine to a slower, higher-torque output that drives the cleaner's wheels with the force and consistency needed to navigate pool floors, walls, and debris without stalling. Without properly functioning reduction gears, the cleaner loses the mechanical advantage needed for steady, reliable movement regardless of suction strength. The SW-61-009 5-pack provides a generous supply for a complete drivetrain restoration or multiple service calls, and is compatible with AquaNaut 200, 250, 400, and 450 and Poolvergnuegen 2-wheel and 4-wheel pool cleaners.
- Direct Replacement for Hayward PVXH009PK5: Engineered to match OEM specifications for the reduction gear position in Hayward AquaNaut 200, 250, 400, and 450 and Poolvergnuegen 2-wheel and 4-wheel suction-side pool cleaners — a precise, drop-in fit with no modifications required.
- Restores Proper Torque & Wheel Speed: The reduction gear steps down turbine RPM to the correct wheel output speed and increases torque, giving the cleaner the mechanical force it needs to move steadily across the pool floor, climb walls, and push through debris without stalling or losing traction.
- 5-Pack for Maximum Service Value: Includes five replacement reduction gears — enough for a full drivetrain restoration or multiple service calls — making the SW-61-009 a practical, cost-effective choice for pool service professionals and homeowners maintaining multiple cleaners.
- Durable Pool-Grade Plastic Construction: Molded from premium wear-resistant plastic engineered to withstand the continuous rotational forces, pool chemical exposure, and debris contact of active suction cleaner operation without deforming, stripping, or losing tooth engagement over time.
- Cost-Effective Drivetrain Repair: Replacing worn reduction gears rather than the full cleaner or gearbox assembly is one of the most affordable repairs available for AquaNaut and PoolCleaner series models — restoring full performance at a fraction of the cost of a new unit or complete drivetrain replacement.
