Engineered as a single-component, water-based rubberized non-skid coating, the Ramuc Tuff Coat UT-219 is a White finish well suited to pool decks, splash pads, docks, boat ramps, and other high-traffic aquatic surfaces that benefit from a bright, slip-resistant appearance. Part of the proven UT-200 series, the formula cross-links urethanes, acrylics, co-polymers, and recycled rubber granules into a flexible, fully submersible coating that bonds directly to concrete, wood, fiberglass, and metal substrates without requiring a separate primer. The White colorway is one of the most versatile in the Tuff Coat lineup, working as a full deck finish, a waterpark surface coating, a pool coping treatment, and a bright base layer underneath lane markings or safety accent colors. Coverage runs 40–45 square feet per gallon in two coats, and the UT-219 dries to touch in approximately one hour, accepts a top coat in one to two hours, and reaches full chemical cure between 24 hours and five days after application. Tuff Coat rollers or low-pressure hopper spray guns are used for application, the coating is thinned with water only, and the formulation is fully VOC-compliant.
Highlights
- Versatile White Aquatic Finish: A bright, neutral White surface that fits a wide range of pool and aquatic facility applications, including full deck coverage, waterpark surfaces, pool coping, and use as a base layer beneath safety yellow markings or contrasting accent colors for lanes and hazard zones.
- Flexible, Submersible Rubber Blend: The cross-linked blend of urethanes, acrylics, co-polymers, and recycled rubber granules forms a flexible, impact-resistant film that resists cracking, peeling, and delamination across continuously wet and submerged surfaces exposed to pool chemicals and weather.
- Primer-Free Adhesion to Many Substrates: Bonds directly to concrete, wood, fiberglass, and metal across interior and exterior pool, dock, and patio environments without a separate primer step, simplifying installation on pool decks, splash pads, docks, boat ramps, and aquatic walkways.
- Medium-Texture 30–35 Mil Film: Cures to a rubberized medium-texture finish at 30–35 mils of thickness, providing reliable underfoot traction on wet surfaces and reducing slip-and-fall risk on heavily trafficked pool decks, ramps, transitions, and splash play areas at residential and commercial aquatic facilities.
- Fast Recoat, No-Solvent Cleanup: Becomes touch-dry in about one hour and accepts a recoat in one to two hours, with full chemical cure reached anywhere from 24 hours to five days, and because the UT-219 is water-based and VOC-compliant, all roller and hopper spray tools clean up with water instead of harsh solvents.
