PoolRx Black Unit Algacide and Mineral Purifier | Black and White | 331067

• Mineral Purifier for Reduced Chlorine Use: The PoolRx Black Unit dissolves minerals into your pool water, enhancing chlorine’s effectiveness in killing bacteria and reducing the overall amount of chlorine needed for a clean and algae-free pool.

• Long-Lasting Mineral Residual: The minerals released by the PoolRx unit stay active in the water for up to 6 months, providing continuous water treatment and making it ideal for pools in areas with extended swimming seasons.

• Re-Energizes as Water Circulates: The minerals are re-energized as they circulate through the PoolRx unit, ensuring consistent performance and maintaining the purifier’s effectiveness throughout the treatment period.

• Effective Algae Prevention: This unit is a reliable solution for preventing algae growth, helping to maintain clear and healthy pool water while reducing the need for high chlorine levels, making it a practical option for long-term pool maintenance.

• (1) PoolRx 331067 Black Unit

• Black unit is for pools with 20,000 to 30,000 gallons of water
• Chemical reducer and 6 month algaecide
• Ideal for pools using chlorine and salt chlorine generators
• Provides up to 6 months of problem solving and chemicals reduction
• Allows you to maintain chlorine levels at a low 0.5 to 1.0 ppm (1.0 to 5.0 ppm for Commercial Pools)
• Buy less chlorine or reduce wear and tear on your chlorine generator by running it less
• Eliminates the need for phosphate removers, clarifiers and algaecides.
• Simplifies pool care and reduces maintenance time and costs
• Less chlorine use means less Cyanuric Acid (CYA) build up and Total Dissolve Solids (TDS) for longer periods between drain and refills

Keep the unit in the pool even after minerals are dissolved in the water. The unit rejuvenates the minerals as they pass back thru it.

Pre Installation

• Test the water for metals like copper or iron. If the levels are above 0.2 ppm see [Maintenance Tips] tab bellow on how to remove them.
• Choose the right PoolRx+ product based on the pool or spa total gallons of water.;
• Start with a clean filter;
• Set your type of filter correctly (refer to [Recommended Filter Settings] tab bellow);
• Check that pH is between 7.2 and 7.8;
• Check that chlorine level is below 10.00 ppm.

Installation

Place the unit in the skimmer (if there is good water flow), or pump basket. Note: All minerals dissolve out of the unit and into the water within 6 hours. It is safe to swim as soon as the unit is placed in the water.

Post Installation (Maintenance)

Note: PoolRx minerals start eliminating algae and bacteria immediately, which will be captured by the filter.

• Clean the filter more frequently until the pool is clear;
• Vacuum any dirt or debris in the pool frequently;
• If the water is green or cloudy, maintain a chlorine level of 2.0 ppm until it clears;
• If the water is clear, maintain a chlorine level of 0.5 ppm to 1.00 ppm;
• Maintain the water pH between 7.2 and 7.8;

No need for speciality chemicals like algaecides, phosphate removers and sequestration agents. Do not use with bromine or biguanides products.
