No — load as many or as few tablets as your pool needs. Smaller or cooler pools may only need 1 or 2 of the included jumbo 3″ tablets. Larger pools or high-use periods may benefit from a full 5. Combine tablet count with the flow ring adjustment to get the chlorine release rate exactly right.
Rotate the adjustable flow ring at the base of the chlorine floater dispenser to open or close the vents. More open = more water contact = faster tablet dissolution. Close it down for smaller pools, cooler water, or lower bather loads. Open it wider for larger pools, hot summer water, or heavy use weekends.
Yes. The CL330DPM chlorine floater dispenser accepts any standard 3″ chlorine or bromine tablet. Once the included sleeve of five TAB50S jumbo trichlor tablets is depleted, refill with any compatible 3″ tablet of your choice for ongoing pool sanitization.
