The Pentair R201276 ProVac #214 is a 14-inch lead-weighted commercial vacuum head engineered for residential concrete and commercial pool cleaning where professional-grade suction performance and durability are required. Its patented suction chamber concentrates vacuum velocity equally from both ends and front to back — a design that delivers more effective debris pickup than standard vacuum heads even under low-flow suction conditions. Full-width flex strips across the bottom guide debris directly into the suction chamber, ensuring nothing gets pushed aside during cleaning passes. Adjustable wheels allow fine-tuning of the vacuum head's height off the pool floor to increase or decrease velocity as needed for different debris loads and pool surfaces. Constructed from ABS and polyethylene with a metal swivel handle, ball-bearing wheels, and stainless steel nut and bolt hardware, the ProVac 214 measures 24-3/4 inches long by 15 inches wide and connects directly to a 1-1/2-inch vac hose swivel. Backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
- Patented Suction Chamber for Maximum Velocity: The unique converging suction chamber concentrates vacuum velocity equally from both ends and front to back, delivering significantly more effective debris pickup than standard vacuum heads — including at lower flow rates where conventional heads lose performance.
- Full-Width Flex Strips for Clean Debris Capture: Flexible strips spanning the full width of the vacuum head guide dirt, leaves, and fine debris directly into the suction chamber rather than pushing it aside — ensuring thorough, consistent pickup across the entire cleaning path with every pass.
- Lead-Weighted for Added Downforce & Balance: Strategically placed lead weights keep the vacuum head pressed firmly and evenly against the pool floor throughout the cleaning cycle, reducing the effort required to maintain contact on rough concrete and plaster surfaces.
- Adjustable Ball-Bearing Wheels for Tunable Velocity: All wheels are adjustable to raise or lower the vacuum head's clearance from the pool floor, allowing pool service professionals to fine-tune suction velocity for different debris types and pool surface conditions — a level of control not available on standard fixed-wheel vacuum heads.
- Commercial-Grade Hardware & Swivel Handle: Built with a metal swivel snap adapter handle, ball-bearing wheels, and stainless steel nut and bolt hardware for long-term durability in high-frequency commercial service use — backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty and compatible with 1-1/2-inch and 2-inch vac hoses.
