CA P65 Warning: Cancer and reproductive harm. www.p65warnings.ca.gov
Phosphates are crucial nutrients for aquatic contaminants such as algae. Unlike most water impurities, chlorine lacks the direct capability to eliminate phosphates. To effectively lower phosphate levels in your water, a specialized phosphate remover is essential. Enter PR-10,000, a potent and highly concentrated rare-earth phosphate remover. This formulation is designed to actively interact with waterborne phosphates, facilitating their removal from the solution.
- Maximum Phosphorus Control: This product stands as the most potent phosphorus control solution available.
- High Concentration Formula: Crafted with a highly concentrated formulation, it swiftly interacts with phosphates present in both pool water and waterborne environments.
- Chlorine-Safe: Prevents interference with chlorine sanitization and disinfection by addressing the issue of algae growth effectively.
- Water Chemistry Friendly: It has no adverse impact on water chemistry parameters, ensuring it doesn't leave behind any residues that could harm water quality.
- Initial Start-Up: Refrain from exceeding 8 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water. Apply PR-10000 uniformly around the water perimeter. Utilize the reference chart for comprehensive dosage details, following an assessment of ortho-phosphate levels with a test kit. Limit each treatment to a maximum of 8 ounces in an average residential pool. Expect clouding upon application, leading to increased filter pressure; thus, backwash and/or clean the filter as needed. Reassess phosphate levels post-application and address accordingly. Conduct monthly phosphate level tests for proper maintenance.
Dosages and Treatment Guideline:
- For levels ranging from 0 to 500 ppb, add 2 ounces of the treatment.
- If the levels are between 500 and 1,000 ppb, use 4 ounces.
- When the levels fall within the 1,000 to 2,000 ppb range, apply 8 ounces.
- If the ortho-phosphate levels exceed 2,000 ppb, use 10 ounces.
