Instructions

Start-Up:

  • Clean the surfaces of your spa, back-flush, and clean the filters.
  • Ensure that your spa's pH and alkalinity are within the recommended ranges.
  • Add 1/2 oz of Spa 56 per 500 gallons of water.
  • Circulate the spa or hot tub water for 5 minutes.
  • Maintain an ideal chlorine range of 2-3 ppm.

Weekly Maintenance:

  • Use spa test strips to check the water and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain alkalinity levels within the range of 80-120 ppm.
  • Maintain pH levels within the range of 7.2-7.8.
  • Keep active chlorine levels in the ideal range of 2-3 ppm.

Superchlorination:

  • Use spa test strips to test the water and adjust as needed.
  • Superchlorinate every 2-4 weeks.
  • Add 1 oz of Spa 56 per 500 gallons of water.
  • Resume the program when chlorine residual reads 2-3 ppm.
