A fresh filter head with a built-in air relief. The Hayward CX120AA is a replacement filter head for Micro Star-Clear cartridge filters, with a 1-1/2 in. NPT vent (air relief) valve. It seals the top of the filter and lets you bleed trapped air on startup. Genuine Hayward part.

What It Is For

  • Replacement top head for Hayward Micro Star-Clear cartridge filters.
  • Includes a 1-1/2 in. NPT air-relief vent valve to purge air.

Compatible With

  • Hayward Micro Star-Clear cartridge filters: C120, C200, and C225.
  • Alternate Hayward part number: 4662-01.

How to Use It

  • Turn off the pump and relieve pressure.
  • Remove the old head, seat the tank o-ring, and fit the CX120AA with thread sealant on the ports.
  • Restart the pump and open the vent valve to bleed air.
