Automatic pumping with a wide-angle float. The Ashland PS33W (PS33W1-10) is a 1/3 HP thermoplastic submersible sump pump that uses a wide-angle tethered float switch - the float swings out and back around the pump to switch it on and off, which suits wider basins. Its piggyback plug lets you unplug the float and run the pump manually when you need to. Corrosion-resistant thermoplastic build with an aluminum motor housing.

How to Use It

• Set the pump flat on the bottom of the sump pit or basin, leaving room for the float to swing freely.
• Connect a 1-1/2 in. discharge pipe or hose and route it to drain.
• Plug into a grounded 115V outlet (GFCI recommended). Leave the float plugged into the piggyback for automatic operation, or bypass it to run manually.
• Keep the intake and float path clear of debris.
